LITERATURE CIRCLE - INSIGHT

         

          I had fun with literature circle. I get to read stories again. To divide the tasks per book, we use the fdraw lots.

         I personally do not like the first book, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE, that much. It was an okay story but is not really my type. It talks about a daughter who had cancer-sick mother. The mother eventually died but has left her daughter a journal. Whenever the daughter feels like lonely, she just read the journal and then, everything is okay. As the vocabulary enricher of the story, I had a review of the words which I regularly read yet I do not know the concrete meaning. It was hard noticing the words though since they were familiar to my eyes. I had to read twice; first is for the story and then second is for the vocabulary.

I watched the movie version of Narnia a couple of times yet it is a different experience reading the book. The movie provides clear faces of the characters and the play of words used by the author is not comparable to movies. My task here is to be the artful adventurer. I chose to write a poem which talks about the human weakness, true courage, the best container of faith and hope and letting God's take over our lives.

I have read My Imaginary Ex before and the story is really fun. It is sure crazy to join the collaborative party of the ex's bringing down the incoming marriage of the ex too. And since I have read the book, my group mates failed to pass the book to me. I had to rely on my previous reading.

Memory is a story of a child who grew to be strong because of his parents’ secret. As he unfold those secrets, his parents are set free. I'm the discussion director for the last book. I want to know my group mates' answer. It was the same intriguing questions when I first read the book.

I really think I'm blessed when these people are around me. They inspire me so much. Because of them, I can't go lame with my part. *THANKS GUYS, OWE YOU A LOT.
